Spring Fling featuring the
Lakeside Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 11 at 1:00 PM
A perfect family gathering to kick off the season. The Easter Egg Hunt is perfect for toddlers through tweens. The EASTER BUNNY will be in attendance and available for photos!! Please bring a basket for each participant to collect eggs and prizes.

Memorial Day Ceremony
Monday, May 31, 12:00 pm EDT
Please join with our community to honor those who have dedicated their lives to preserve freedom. A ceremony will include the American Legion Honor Guard and a patriotic speaker.
Location: Gather at the Lakeside Cemetery

Volunteers needed to pitch in and help clean up our community! Feel free to bring extra helping hands to tidy up roadside.
Gloves, bags, tools are provided – your enthusiasm and support are needed to cover the 2+ miles of road.
Meet at Lakeside Park where the fun begins.
Independence Day Parade
July 4, 12 noon EDT
Uncle Sam encourages you to bring your pet on a leash, decorate a bike, wave a flag – and JOIN THE PARADE!
This is most definitely a family EXTRAVAGANZA!!!
Don't miss the biggest, shortest parade in Harbor Country!
Location: Parade begins at Pier Street and Lake Shore Road, ending at Lakeside Park.

Help maintain Lakeside’s beautiful park, the cornerstone of downtown Lakeside. Toil in the dirt and then sit back on a park bench and enjoy your contribution to the community. Join our friendly group and meet your neighbors. No experience necessary!

3rd Lakeside HISTORY DAY
Saturday, July 17
10:00 AM to 12:30 PM EDT
You will travel Lakeshore Drive to hear about six topics dealing with significant Harbor Country forefathers, unique architecture, historical landscaping and the public use of the shore. Local “historians” will share their stories and you can gain some new perspectives.
Ice Cream Social
August 7, 5-7 P.M. EDT
Ice cream, homemade cake and cookies, and more. Live music, the fish pond is back, and of course, the traditional cake auction!
