Lakeside Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday - March 30, 1:00 PM
Fun for the kids! Fun for the family! Join the Lakeside Association for its popular Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30 at 1pm. Gather shortly before this start time at Lakeside Park (Lakeside Road and Red Arrow Highway) next to the Gazebo. Separate egg hunts will be organized by age: 4 and under; 5 - 7; 8 -10; 11+. The bunny generously delivers many eggs, so bring a basket for snatching up these treats. Prizes and fun activities for all. Don’t forget to grab a phone or camera to get some great pictures! See you at the park!
Memorial Day Ceremony
Monday - May 27, 12 noon
Please join with our community to honor those who have dedicated their lives to preserve freedom. The ceremony will include the American Legion Honor Guard and a patriotic speaker.
Location: Gather at the Chikaming Township Lakeside Cemetery, Lakeside Road.

Annual Meeting

Please join us. Your involvement is key to the success of our Lakeside Association. This is a once-a-year gathering to hear what is happening in the community and visit with friends and neighbors.

Independence Day Parade
Monday - July 4, 12 noon
Uncle Sam encourages you to bring your pet on a leash, decorate a bike, wave a flag – and JOIN THE PARADE!
This is most definitely a family EXTRAVAGANZA!!!
Location: Parade begins at Pier Street and Lake Shore Road, ending at Lakeside Park
Lakeside Garden Walk

A favorite activity happening every three years. Stroll through 8 gardens representing a variety of settings that display interest in design, passion for landscapes and distinctive styles. Tickets available online and from local vendors. Click here for more information.

Help maintain Lakeside's beautiful parks, the cornerstone of downtown Lakeside. Toil in the soil and then sit back on a park bench and enjoy your contribution to the community. Join our friendly group and meet your neighbors. No experience necessary!

Adopt-A-Road Cleanup
Spring: Saturday - May 11, 9:00 AM
Fall: Saturday - Sept 21 at 9:00 AM
Volunteers needed to pitch in and help clean up our community! Feel free to bring extra helping hands to tidy up roadside.
Gloves, bags, tools are provided – your enthusiasm and support are needed to cover the 2+ miles of road.
Location: Meet at Lakeside Park where the fun begins.
Ice Cream Social - CANCELLED

Ice cream, homemade cake and cookies! Loads of fun for a hot summer day. Live music and games for the kids. The highlight! Our traditional cake auction offering Lakeside's finest to benefit the Scholarship Fund.
